Seriously. Do these people age? I know the wonders that makeup can do but come on! It's been a good decade!

Gandalf and Bilbo

First official photos of Martin Freeman as Bilbo Baggins as well as Ian McKellen revisting his role as Gandalf. It's great to get a look at Freeman in his hobbit feet, as well as a few dwarves lurking in the background of Bag End. I find myself more excited by seeing Gandalf again, garbed in his traditional grey and looking as if he never left Middle Earth.

Of Hobbits.

I cannot express simply how excited I am by The Hobbit finally going into production. This video gave me chills, especially seeing the cast sit at Bilbo's table and to then be joined by Ian McKellen - it's incredible. The Lord of the Rings were a massive part of my teenage years (early - mid) and I cannot wait for The Hobbit films to join them. The original films were unlike anything I had ever seen and I cannot wait to venture into Middle Earth again.
